Annette Stone

A founding Partner of Ballarat Lawyers, Annette Stone qualified as a lawyer in England and Wales in 2002, where she practised for 8 years as a Family Lawyer.

Annette relocated to Australia with her family in late 2010. Following Victorian requirements, she is now a practising solicitor in Victoria and the Commonwealth and continues to practice in all areas of Family Law including Property Settlements, Parenting Issues, Family Violence, De-Facto Relationships, Binding Financial Agreements, Divorce and Child Protection.

Annette became an accredited Family Law Specialist in 2016 and is therefore able to offer her client’s expert advice on all aspects of Family Law.

Annette works closely with her clients to ensure the best outcomes possible. Annette understands the pressure and emotions that family law proceedings can place on her clients and aims to keep the process as straightforward and as stress free as possible.

Annette ensures that her clients are afforded the best legal advice and services and that even the most complex property matters are explained to clients in a professional but non-legalistic way ensuring her clients may assist in tailoring the best solution for their matters. It is Annette’s professionalism and commitment to achieving the best result possible for her clients which makes her such a valuable member of Ballarat Lawyers.

Annette is on the executive committee for Darley Junior Football Netball Club where she holds position of Female Football Coordinator. Annette enjoys volunteering at the Ballarat & Grampians Community Legal Service and is a very active member of the community.
